Two contested primaries highlight the filing deadline for Marion County offices today. The candidates that will appear on the primary ballot on June 5th are as follows:

Board of Supervisors – Republican (vote for two):
*Jim Kingery (Monroe)
Mark Raymie (Knoxville)
Adam Wadle (Melcher-Dallas)

County Auditor – Republican (vote for one):
*Jake Grandia (Pella)

County Sheriff (vote for one):
Randall F. Puyear (Tracy)
Jason Sandholdt (Knoxville)

An asterisk by a candidate’s name indicates they are an incumbent. No Democrats filed for any open office in the county. Current Supervisor Sam Nichols and current Sheriff Ron Goemaat also did not file to appear on the primary ballot.
