Down two runs with the bases loaded and two outs, the Central College baseball team found themselves unable to find the extra boost to pull out a comeback victory, as they fell 4-2 against Denison University Thursday.  The Dutch opened the inning with two runs, helping cut into a four-run deficit that the Big Red stacked up in the fifth and sixth innings.

Starting pitcher Ryan Goetzinger allowed four hits and three earned runs in six innings, while tallying three strikeouts and three walks in the loss.  Central finishes their spring break trip today, taking on Lawrence University before facing Lasell College in a final game in Florida.  The Dutch are 7-3 overall.
