The last two seasons…the Little Hawkeye Conference boys track and field meet has been a run-away by either Knoxville or Pella. This season it may be a little closer. Panthers Coach Mike Cunningham II says while Pella is going to be very good, he says a few other squads could also contend for the title. He says Grinnell, Norwalk, Newton, and his own Panther squad by the end of the season can contend for the conference crown. Cunningham hopes this year brings a closer meet and not one team scoring 190 points as has been the case the last two years.
