[simage=4718,200,y,left] Jury selection in the case against Michael Miller begins today in the Clarke County Courthouse in Osceola. Miller has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Theresa Miller. Michael allegedly offered to pay his co-worker, Terry Cobbins, Jr., to kill Theresa so he could be with another woman. Cobbins was found guilty earlier this month of first-degree murder in the case.

According to court documents, Michael Miller says he had no involvement in his wife’s death. He claims a woman he had a one-time affair with could have gotten Cobbins to commit the murder so she could be with Michael. The trial was moved to Clarke County earlier this month [1] after the defense filed a motion stating that there couldn’t be a fair trial in Marion County due to extensive coverage of the Cobbins trial.
