While a few of the sports teams at Knoxville High School have struggled to find wins during the fall and winter seasons, there have been some highlights. Knoxville High School Athletic Director Randy Wilson noted the boys cross country squad made the state meet once again, the volleyball squad made a major turnaround from one season to the next, and the wrestling squad had the most dual meet victories in several seasons. Wilson says while the basketball season yielded few wins, he was proud of the coaching staffs on both clubs. Wilson ads while the football, and boys and girls basketball struggled, they each were playing well at the end of their respective seasons. Wilson is eagerly looking forward to the spring and summer seasons.
