The Knoxville School Board approved three contracts for new teachers next year during their meeting on Monday evening. Knoxville Schools Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says that it’s always tough to lose quality teachers. Many teachers and staff members have chosen to retire after this school year as part of the district’s early retirement incentive program. Dr. Flack says that it’s also exciting to talk to newer teachers and hear their enthusiasm about their teaching careers. He says that the schools work very hard during the interview process to ensure that they get the right fit for the school district.
