Central Stymies Grinnell for 13th Win

The senior joined KNIA/KRLS Sports Director on this week’s Marion County PM Sports Page to discuss why he chose to go out for golf this season, why golf isn’t the only thing that keeps him busy, and shares which club is his favorite in the bag.

Pella High’s Lucas Boyd was a sudden-death shot away from an individual state title in golf a season ago and is focused on ending his season at the top this May. Accident Blocks East Main in Knoxville

A white sedan rear-ended a city of Knoxville Street sweeper in the 1300 block of East Main in Knoxville at approximately 1:30PM. According to officials on scene, there were no life threatening injuries to the driver of the sedan. The driver of the street sweeper was uninjured. The Knoxville Police Department, Knoxville Fire and Rescue, the Iowa State Patrol and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Responded to the scene. Traffic was re-routed by the Knoxville Police Department.
