The transition to spring means more people are letting their pets outdoors. Dr. Tim Yoder with Tri-County Veterinary Clinic of Pella tells KNIA/KRLS News that he recommends some annual boosters for all animals, even those that always live indoors. He says that making sure your pet is dewormed and up to date on all vaccinations can be beneficial, even if your pets never go outside. Dr. Yoder says you don’t always know what gets brought into the house, and that with pets it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
