A social worker with the Department of Human Services who works in Knoxville was shot at in Indianola on Friday. Nicholas Augustine of rural Indianola shot at the social worker as she fled residence.

Eddie Viers Laid to Rest

Hundreds of people lined the streets of Pleasantville Friday as they honored a Marion County soldier. 1st Sergeant Eddie Viers was laid to rest in the Swan Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the US Army.

Miller’s Family Shares Emotions During Sentencing Hearing
