The Central College men’s tennis team suffered a 6-3 Iowa Conference loss to Wartburg College Saturday morning at Waverly, before rebounding with a 9-0 blanking of non-conference opponent Bethany Lutheran College. In the afternoon matchup, Tyler opted to adjust Central’s lineup, introducing some less-familiar faces to take on Bethany Lutheran (0-2). Josh Forst, a regular on the No. 2 doubles team, stepped into the No. 4 singles spot and earned a 6-0, 6-1 win. Junior Pat Daly was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 5 singles and junior David Bouska added another 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
