A productive week helped lift the Central College softball team two spots to No. 6 in the NFCA Division III rankings. The Dutch posted a 9-6, 5-2 doubleheader sweep at then-No. 3 Coe College last Wednesday, then swept Washington-St. Louis University Thursday 3-0, 4-1 before recording an Iowa Conference sweep of the University of Dubuque Monday, 8-0, 3-2.

Linfield remains a unanimous pick at No. 1 with a 32-2 mark. League rival Luther College is up a notch to No. 4 while Coe tumbled to No. 7. Central returns to action Saturday at Waverly with a conference doubleheader against Wartburg College.
