Playing well under pressure, the Pella boys tennis team picked up a 9-2 Little Hawkeye Conference win at Newton Tuesday night. Among the highlights were third set super tie-break victories by Brannon Johnson at No. 1 singles and Johnson and David Lapthorn at No. 1 doubles.

The Pella boys tennis team is now 3-1 in dual meets this season and will face another conference team on the road on Thursday when they make the short trip to Oskaloosa.
