The Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad wanted to get some much needed momentum in the Hudson Invitational on Saturday and improve on the defensive side, and for the most part mission accomplished. The Panthers finished runner up after rolling through their pool by a combined 7-0. The Panthers beat Independence 4-0, Gladbrook-Reinbeck 1-0, and Marshalltown 2-0. However the Panthers were stopped by host Hudson in the finals five-to-nothing. Freshman Alex Dyke had the hot foot as he nailed four goals, Erik Ryan had two and Austin Legvold tallied one goal. Knoxville is now 3-4 on the season.
