Knoxville Native Jessica Fresh has a chance to be Marion County’s second Olympian. Last week, Fresh qualified for the United States Women’s Wrestling Team trials by placing second in the 48 kilo weight class. Fresh will compete at the National U-S Team Trials to be held in Iowa City April 22nd. A first place finish would earn fresh a spot on the United State Olympic Team to compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Fresh currently wrestles for the Waldorf college women’s squad.
