The Knoxville Soccer Squads fell to Grinnell last night as the girls lost to the Tigers 3-0. Amber Klootwyk came up with 22 saves for the Panthers. Knoxville is now 0-6 on the season and 0-2 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. They will host P-C-M on Friday. The boys meanwhile, fell 2-1 to Grinnell. Knoxville’s only goal came when Erik Ryan hit the back of the net from 25 yards out early in the second half. Knoxville was unable to cash in on other opportunities late in the match. Knoxville is now 3-6 on the season and fall to 0-2 in the conference. The Panthers will have a week before their next match on Tuesday at Oskaloosa. Last night was the sixth match in four days for Knoxville.
