Knoxville’s Erik Ryan likely had a choice of what sport to play on the college level next year. Just this season alone he was the football kicker, played basketball, is also on the soccer squad, and ran cross country. The later is what Ryan will participate in at the next level as Ryan will take his talents to Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids. Ryan has had a very good high school athletic career as he has played on four state tournament teams. He ran with the 2009, 2010, and 2011 State Cross Country Teams and the 2010 State Soccer Squad. Mount Mercy is an N-A-I-A school and a member of the Midwest Collegiate Conference.
