A loss at No. 1 singles did not deter the Pella High boys tennis team, as they rallied to sweep the rest of singles and won three of five doubles matches to close out an 8-3 win over Grinnell Thursday night in Pella. The Little Dutch picked up a number of hard-fought victories on the afternoon, highlighted by sophomore David Lapthorn’s win at No. 2 singles. He’d later combine with Brannon Johnson to notch another victory at No. 1 doubles.
