The Pella Christian boys soccer team notched a big win Thursday night, defeating nearby Knoxville 3-1. The Eagles’ held a 2-0 lead by halftime, courtesy of a pair of goals from John Admiraal, and stretched the lead to 3-0 early in the second half on a goal from Jordan Van Maanen; who was assisted by Jon Lensing. Freshman Alec Vink continued to perform well in goal in just his second varsity start for Pella Christian, notching 17 saves. The Eagles are 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
