It was a bit of a disheartening start to the season for the Pella Christian girls soccer team Monday night, as the Lady Eagles were shut out 6-0 by Norwalk. The Warriors held a 2-0 lead by intermission and peppered new Pella Christian goalkeeper Jenna Roose with 24 shots on goal; compared to just 7 for the Lady Eagles.

On defense, Shelby Systsma led the way with 33 stops, while Kylie Lamb added 22. Now 0-1 on the season, the Pella Christian girls soccer team has little time to recover, as they’re back on the road tonight at Indianola.
