A potent Nevada boys soccer team proved to be too much for PCM to handle Thursday night, as the Mustangs fell 5-0 to the Cubs. PCM held their own in the first half, trailing just 1-0 through the opening 40 minutes of play. The Cubs struck quickly in the second half, though, scoring twice in the first two minutes and snagging a quick 3-0 lead. From there, a resilient Mustangs squad could never gain any ground, as Nevada closed out the match with two more goals. Up next for the PCM boys soccer team is a rematch against Chariton next Thursday in Monroe.
