Five of the top six individual scores helped the PCM girls golf team set a new team record for a nine-hole round, as the Mustangs shot a 189 to take first place at the Bondurant-Farrar Invite. The combined score was two strokes better than the previous record.

Leading the way for the Mustangs was Cassidy Van Veen, who fired a personal-best 44 at the Terrace Hills Golf Course; claiming medalist honors. Maddie Peters and Hannah Hugen were right behind with a 47 and 48, respectively.

The competition wasn’t even close, as the PCM girls were a staggering 54 strokes ahead of second-place CMB. Madrid took third, while host Bondurant-Farrar placed fourth.
