Pella Christian Girls Track Team Finishes Third at Eddyville-Blakesburg

A very top-heavy meet in Eddyville Tuesday night saw the Pella Christian girls track and field team finish in third place at the Rocket Relays. The Lady Eagles scored 103 points. Davis County won the meet with 187, and host Eddyville-Blakesburg took second with 134. The Pleasantville girls took seventh with 16 points.

Pella Christian’s strengths were in the relay events, where the Lady Eagles took first in the 4×100, 4×200 and Sprint Medley Relays. Pella Christian added one silver medal, and – indicative of where they would finish in the team standings – piled up an impressive eight bronze medals.
