Pella High Boys Track Brings Home First Place from Nevada

The Pella High boys added another team title to their impressive start to the outdoor season Thursday night at Nevada. A number of personal records were topped as the Little Dutch garnered seven 1st-place finishes and finished with 193 points.

Gold medals for the Pella High boys went to Chris Brogden in the 100 Meter Dash, Austin Fuller in the 200 Meter Dash, Jace Versteeg in the 110 Hurdles, Keegan Fitzsimmons in the 3200 Meter Run; and the team’s 4×100 (C. Brogden, R. Shull, J. Vesteeg, A. Fuller), 4×800 (A. Houtz, K. Fitzsimmons, J. Heschke, C. Haning) and Shuttle Hurdle (K. DuPre, T. Cox, W. Pingel, J. Versteeg) Relays.

Pella High also brought home a number of silver medals, finishing runner-up in six events.
