A Call to Serve Ministries has announced the date of this year’s Knoxville Service Surge. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 12th, running from 7am until 2pm. Last year, about 300 people braved chilly conditions. They worked on nearly 29 projects in the Knoxville area, including fixing up and cleaning properties as well as packing about 25,000 meals for the hungry with Meals from the Heartland.
