IN THE PAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS THE MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE received EIGHTY EIGHT PHONE CALLS and ELEVEN 911 CALLS.

IN THE PAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS THE MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO TWELVE CALLS FOR SERVICE, including but not limited to THREE PAPER SERVICE ATTEMPTS, ONE REPORT OF STRAY DOGS, ONE REPORT OF THEFT, ONE REPORT OF DEBRIS IN THE ROADWAY, ONE TRANSPORT, ONE REPORT OF HARASSMENT, ONE REPORT OF A RECKLESS DRIVER, ONE REPORT OF DPQ, and TWO AGENCY ASSISTS.

THE MARION COUNTY JAIL IS CURRENTLY HOLDING THIRTY FOUR SUBJECTS.

IN THE PAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS FIVE SUBJECTS WERE BOOKED INTO THE MARION COUNTY JAIL;

Justin William Winter was arrested on an arrest warrant, and also charged with operating while intoxicated and driving while barred.

Tory Verlin Heiden is charged with operating while intoxicated, careless driving, failure to maintain control, and excessive speed.

Montgomery Lee Shumacher is charged with public intoxication.

Jeremy Allen Snead is charged with interference with official acts, operating while intoxicated, public intoxication, and assault on a peace officer.

Aaron Michael Brees was arrested on an arrest warrant.

AS WITH ANY CRIMINAL CASE, A CHARGE IS MERELY AN ACCUSATION AND A DEFENDANT IS PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL AND UNLESS PROVEN GUILTY
