A resilient Cornell team pushed Central all the way to the brink, but the Dutch held on to a one-run lead in the bottom of the ninth to secure a 6-5 Iowa Conference victory Saturday afternoon; clinching a share of the league title in the process.  The key league victory also marked win No. 200 for head coach Adam Stevens.

This season, the Dutch are 26-9 overall and 16-5 in the Iowa Conference.  With three conference games remaining, the Dutch need one more win to secure the outright title.  They can do just that this afternoon when they close out the series with Cornell with a pair of seven-inning contests.
