The outlaws are in town! The World of Outlaws national tour makes a stop at the Knoxville Raceway Saturday as they attempt to run the first laps of the year. Hot laps start at 6:45 with time trials beginning at 7:15. As always, you can hear the racing action live on 1320 KNIA, 92.1 KRLS, and streaming live at kniakrls.com. Former Knoxville Raceway Race Director Ralph Capitani will have a public retirement reception on Saturday afternoon. The public is invited to Dyer-Hudson Hall from 2-5pm Saturday to congratulate and thank “Cappy”.
