The Central College men’s golf team opens play at the NCAA Division III Championships today at the Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. A trip to the four-day, 72-hole tournament was earned on May 5th, when the Dutch captured their 30th league title to put their name amongst 40 other programs and a total of 210 players.

On Central’s side is a veteran crew that features three seniors and a junior that have all competed on the national stage before. The Dutch will need that experience, as the tournament field abruptly drops to just 15 teams after the first two rounds. Competition begins on the par-72 Las Colinas course, with the final two rounds taking place on the par-73 El Campeon.
