The 7th Annual Dutch Baking Competition was held last night at the Pella Historical Village. There were 18 entries for this year’s theme of anything almond. Two winners were chosen by a group of local judges. The first place winner was Dutch Letter Cupcakes, second place was Apple Almond Pie. A winner was chosen by the Tulip Time Queen as well, that winner was Almond Creme Candy.
