Governor Terry Branstad says he’s pleased with how the legislative session has gone so far. He tells us that he signed a law that expand open records and meetings, making it easier for people to get information from government bodies. He says many times expensive litigation is required to get information from government groups. He says this new law will prevent that and improve government transparency and accountability.
