The results of the 410 and 360 A-Mains at the Knoxville Raceway from this past Saturday are finally official after results from a test of 410 Winner Davey Heskin and 360 winner Wayne Johnson’s mufflers by the manufacturer. The issue arose when Knoxville Raceway officials confiscated mufflers from Heskin and Johnson because officials noticed the mufflers may have been altered. Both drivers were informed that their mufflers were being confiscated and their winnings were being withheld until the manufacturer could run tests. According the Knoxville Raceway, the manufacturer which is Arkansas based Schoenfeld Headers ran tests this week and found there was a manufacturing oversight that was not the fault of the drivers. Both Johnson and Heskin’s wins from Saturday were made official. While the winners were made official, 360 third place finisher Tony Shilling was disqualified for a rules infraction. That means Matt Moro who finished fourth now finishes third and everyone behind moves up one position.
