The second round of the Joel Johnson era for the Knoxville Baseball program begins today as the Panthers open up the 2012 season at Des Moines Christian. Johnson says this is the youngest team he has ever coached with only five seniors and most the team freshmen and sophomores. Johnson says he is ready to get back on the field after nearly ten years away. He says the coaching staff will have to be patient with many of the players this season. The J-V/Varsity double header is scheduled to begin at 3:45 at Des Moines Christian.
