A Knoxville native is among a group of Central College athletes that have been named Iowa Conference performers of the week in their respective sports. Ethan Miller, the men’s Distance Medley Relay team and Justin Livingston were all tabbed for the honor this past week.

Among the runners on the relay team is Knoxville freshman Alex Edwards – who along with Drew Jackson, L.J. Lipscomb and Eli Horton – finished fifth in the college division at last week’s Drake Relays and shattered Central’s school record by over seven seconds.

Miller was cited as the men’s field events athlete of the week after placing fourth overall in the college division of the Decathlon at Drake and as the top performer in Division III.

Livingston was the men’s golfer of the week after reaching a tie for the overall lead at the midway point of the 72-hole Iowa Conference men’s golf tournament.
