Matching 37’s by Michael Neff and Hunter Van Veen led the PCM boys golf team to victory Thursday evening in the Roland-Story Invite. The Mustangs dropped another impressive nine-hole team score – this time a 150 – to again edge out South Hamilton; albeit by just two strokes. Hampton-Dumont finished in third with a 161, while the host Norsemen shot a 168 to finish fourth in the six-team event.

Hampton-Dumont’s Mitch Vetter was medalist with a 36. Rounding out PCM’s scores were Devon Woody and Ryan Jennings, who each fired a 38. Justin Beener and Logan Van Veen weren’t far behind at 39 and 43, respectively. The Mustangs will get in a fourth meet this week when they participate in the Colfax-Mingo Invite on Saturday.
