Facing much of the competition that they’ll see in their upcoming District meet, the PCM girls golf team capped off regular season play Friday evening with a nine-hole invite at Colfax-Mingo. The Mustangs carded a solid 201, but landed just a stroke back of the host Tigerhawks for the top spot in the team standings.

The individual top spot belonged to PCM, though, as Maddie Peters shot a 44 on the day to earn medalist honors. The PCM girls begin postseason play on Monday with the Class 2A Girls District Golf Meet at State Center.
