Pella High’s Lucas Boyd earned individual medalist honors, but the field at Saturday’s boys golf invite in Chariton was every bit as challenging as expected, as the Little Dutch finished in third place in the team standings.  The Knoxville boys took fifth.

Boyd was five strokes better than the individual runner-up, carding a two-under par 70 at the Lake View Golf Course in Chariton to lead the Pella High boys to a team score of 312.  Creston took first place with a 306, and Fairfield finished two shots better than the Little Dutch at 310. Kaden Losher carded the low round for the Knoxville boys with an 80.

The Panthers will face the Little Dutch again on Tuesday, as Pella High hosts Knoxville in a head-to-head meet at the Bos Landen Golf Club in Pella.
