The Pleasantville girls golf team put a bow on their unbeaten regular season with yet another thorough victory Thursday afternoon. Playing on their home course at the Pleasantville Country Club, the Trojans fired a 179 as a team, 32 strokes in front of second-place Carlisle. The Knoxville girls carded a 212 as a team – just one stroke back of the Wildcats.

Pleasantville’s Ashley Jahner shot a 40 to earn medalist honors, while teammate Morgan Marsh was runner-up with a 44. Jessica Weldon’s score of 50 was the low round for the Knoxville girls. The Pleasantville girls golf team went 26-0 against the competition this year, and now sets their sights on a strong postseason as they try and defend their Class 2A State Championship.
