Playing the Pleasantville Country Club course under nearly perfect conditions, the host Trojans swept a coed meet Monday night that also included Melcher-Dallas. On the girls’ side, the Trojans carded a 183 – which, unfortunately, went unchallenged, as Colfax-Mingo and Melcher-Dallas did not field full squads. Morgan Marsh and Charlie Vanderpool shared medalist honors – each shooting a 42.

The boys’ meet saw Pleasantville card a 164 in the team standings; six strokes in front of Colfax-Mingo. Melcher-Dallas was right in the hunt with a 179. Pleasantville’s Cody Marsh and Trent Kennedy of Melcher-Dallas both shot a 37 to share medalist honors. It was a particularly memorable day for Marsh, who celebrated his birthday with a hole-in-one on No. 7.
