One family visited victory lane twice Saturday night at the Knoxville Raceway and both came away with track records on top of it. Mike Van Haaften took his second 305 A-Main by leading every lap of the 15 lap main event, and breaking the 15 lap track record in a time of 4:29. Just about a half an hour later, his cousin Nate Van Haaften won his second 360 feature of the season and third career by also leading every lap, dominating the entire race, and also setting the track record for the shortest 360 A-Main in a time of 5:13.80 seconds, breaking the mark set by David Hessmer in 2003. The 410 A-Main had a little bit more drama as Danny Lasoski back form racing the last couple of weeks in Pennsylvania passed Bronson Maeschen on a restart with two laps to go and held on for the win. It was Lasoski’s 97th career win at the Knoxville Raceway.
