Car Temperatures During Heat Wave

With the oppressive heat this week, one of the most important things Doug Polking, Pella Ambulance Director, is reminding people of, is that you should not leave children or pets in cars. He says that the temperature in the vehicle can rise 20 degrees in 10 minutes. He says even if the windows are cracked, the vehicle will be too hot for children and animals to be safe.
