Six runs in the first and fifth innings book-ended a dominant performance by the Melcher-Dallas softball team Monday night, as the Saints routed Seymour 14-2 in five innings. Lexi Crozier helped her own cause in the circle with a solid night at the plate, as she finished the night 2-for-3 with a double, 2 RBI and a stolen base. The Saints bats were lively, springing for 13 hits, including home runs by Sydney Wilson and Morgan Mitchell; as they each finished the night with 3 RBI. Up next for the Melcher-Dallas softball team is a home game tonight against Moulton-Udell.
