Melcher-Dallas put together one of their top defensive performances of the season in Truro Monday night, but the offense lacked the necessary pop to earn the victory, as the Saints fell to Interstate-35 6-3.  Caleb Bennett pitched well for Melcher-Dallas, allowing just three earned runs, but the Roadrunners stymied the Saints’ batters, as the maroon-and-white churned out just two hits.  The Melcher-Dallas baseball team is now 6-11 overall.
