The Pella baseball team took advantage of four Oskaloosa errors and a strong night on the mound by senior pitcher Schyler Kane to bounce back from a tough previous week with Monday night’s 7-3 victory over the Indians. Kane pitched all seven innings, striking out 11 Oskaloosa batters and scattering seven hits. Ryan Shull and Josh Hileman led the Little Dutch at the plate, as each player went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Shull added two stolen bases. The win pulls the Pella baseball team up to 4-4 overall and earns them their first Little Hawkeye Conference win of the season. They’ll host Centerville tonight in a Varsity doubleheader.
