The Knoxville Softball Squad enjoyed a much needed weekend off from tournament play on Saturday as the Panthers were able to reflect on a week that did not start off well, but ended with back-to-back conference wins. Knoxville lost to Winterset on Tuesday 16-6, highlighted by a Cheyenne Jones grand slam, the Panthers got back-to-back wins for the first time this season coming from behind to beat Grinnell and beating a solid Oskaloosa team 1-0 on Friday. The Panthers today begin a week where they have five games in five days. Knoxville travels to Newton today, returns home for a non-conference game against Chariton tomorrow, back on the road to Norwalk Wednesday, hosts the makeup game with Pella Christian Thursday, and back at home against Pella High on Friday.
