The Knoxville Baseball Squad was swept by Norwalk last night as the Warriors put five runs on the board in the first and seven more in the sixth to win 17-2 in game one. Kevin Woodhouse took the loss as he went only one inning. The nightcap became a score fest resembling a slow pitch softball game as Norwalk prevailed 15-12. This time it was Knoxville’s turn to jump on top 5-0 in the first inning, however Norwalk immediately responded with eight runs of its own in the top of the second and never trailed the rest of the way. Knoxville did get four runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and sixth innings and one in the seventh as the Panthers had two on with two outs but could not find the hit needed. Bryant McWilliams went 2/4 with an R-B-I, while Justin Katich had two R-B-I, and Tanner Dunkin went 3/4 with an R-B-I and a stolen base. Katich also took the loss going four innings. Knoxville falls to 4-10 on the season and 2-4 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
