Tessa Howerzyl slugged her second home run of the season and Jenna Roose went a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish with a double, but it wasn’t enough to push the Pella Christian softball team past a very good Clarke squad, as the Lady Eagles took a 9-5 setback Tuesday night in Osceola.    

Taylor Hartson got the start in the circle, allowing six runs on seven hits in 3 1/3 innings of work before Shannon Fynaardt came in to finish out the game.  Pella Christian is again on the road tonight, as they travel to Norwalk for a Little Hawkeye Conference contest with the Warriors.
