A frustrating night at the plate negated a strong performance on the pitcher’s mound, as the Pleasantville baseball team was shut out 3-0 Thursday night against Interstate-35. Ace Collin Thomas gave up only three hits to the Roadrunners and struck out 11 batters, but the Trojans could only muster three hits of their own in the setback. The Pleasantville baseball team is now 8-2 overall and will host Lenox tonight.
