The Third Annual Pella Booster Club Golf Tournament is a week away, and this year’s outing will take on additional meaning. Acting president Ryan Davis tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the organization would like the outing to serve as a memorial for Bill Van Horn, who passed away on Sunday.

The tournament is a four-person, best-shot format; and is $100 per golfer – which covers green fees, cart rental, food and drinks, and makes each golfer eligible to win prizes. The Third Annual Pella Booster Club Golf Tournament will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3rd, at the Bos Landen Golf Course in Pella. Those interested can register at the Bos Landen clubhouse.
