On the heels of four individual academic All-Americans, the Central College women’s track and field team has been recognized for their cumulative hard work in the classroom. For the sixth straight year, the Dutch women’s track and field team has received Division III All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Teams that compile a 3.10 or better cumulative grade point average are given the distinction. The Dutch carried a 3.26 mark. There were 137 squads honored.

The Central women’s track and field team finished the year tied for 20th at the NCAA outdoor championships, the program’s eighth time in the top 20. In the Iowa Conference, Central took runner-up honors at the outdoor meet and placed third at the indoor meet.
