The 21st Annual Harris Clash Modified and Sports Mods will invade the Knoxville Raceway tonight. Around 50 cars are expected in each class with many of the top modified and sport mod drivers from around the Midwest. Fans will also recognize a familiar name in the modified class…Former NASCAR Driver Ken Schrader. Schrader began his racing career as a sprint car driver and competed in three Knoxville Nationals with his best finish of 12th in 1981. Schrader went on to race in the USAC Sprint Car Series before breaking into the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 1984 winning four times during his career. Schrader has also raced several times in the Knoxville Late Model Nationals. Hot laps tonight are scheduled to begin at 6:45.
